Berthoud Christmas Holiday Lighting Installation
Lighting Colorado’s Christmas installs holiday lighting in all of Berthoud. In fact we actually love installing Christmas lights in Berthoud it is a special place for one of the owners Shane. He actually got married in Berthoud Colorado in October of 2016. Furthermore, Shane and his wife got their dog Lila from a breeder in Berthoud. Shane’s painting business Paint Pals, does a lot of work in Berthoud during spring summer and fall, so they are very familiar with the area.
Residential and Commercial lighting plans give us an opportunity to get creative and show off our lights. If you decide to go this route we can write up a bunch of options and try to find something that fits your taste and budget. If you have a property with a lot of land and a fence that goes around the property, lighting the fence is a way to make the display cover a lot of area in a cost effective way. We can hang pre-lit garland along the fence, or simply place C9 lights every 1-3 foot to outline the fence. For houses your imagination is the only limit to how intricate your holiday lighting display can be. We can outline the driveway with lighted stakes, we can outline your windows in a few different ways. We can outline the trim on your house with mini lights, you can even go as far as to do what we like to call the “Clark Griswold” This is where we string lights along the surface of your roof. We usually use led mini lights that are pure white to give a snow like appearance we space them a foot apart in strings and go over the entire surface of your roof. We like to fasten the lights with plastic clips where ever possible and it usually is. Although when outlining doors, windows or trim staples tend to work the best. If you have a stucco house we tend to use hot glue, but we do like to make you aware before we do this that the residue of glue sometime gets left behind, although it is still the best non invasive way we have found to fasten lights to stucco and brick. For landscaping you can put lights almost anywhere, and one thing that is actually hard to do is put too many mini lights in a bush. When we do custom designs the first thing we think about is getting power to all the lights, this includes running extension cords from the sources of power your house provides. If we are using LED lights we are able to reduce the extension cords drastically but the price of LED lights is significantly more the incandescent. When we do run extension cords over concrete we use a special red tape that is designed for stucco, brick, and concrete. We use the color red to help highlight the cord to prevent tripping. Unfortunately cold and moister is the tapes worst enemy so as you can image snow is tough on it. We make our homeowners away of this before hand and to watch out for it.
